What's a Distortion?
It's the hourly event that came with Monument of Triumph. Every hour, one destination gets taken over: the sky rips open, enemies hit noticeably harder, and whatever that destination drops comes in at a higher gear tier for as long as it's active.
How long do I have before it shifts?
One hour exactly, then it moves to the next destination on the hour. We've got the countdown up top doing the math for you. It's already converted to your local time, so you don't have to think about it.
What should I actually farm?
Go for that destination's armor set. It's the easiest win since everything drops at a higher tier while the Distortion's live there. We linked every destination straight to its set bonuses so you can decide if it's worth the trip.
How do I know the order's right?
We started tracking it by watching full cycles ourselves, then locked it in against what we were actually seeing in-game. If Bungie ever changes it up, we'll catch it and fix this page the same day.
